June 2010 Conference on the topic of Design, Architecture and Sustainability
On Saturday June 5, 2010 within the framework of the exhibition greek green greet by droog and on the occasion of the World Environment Day the Mariopoulos-Kanaginis Foundation in collaboration with the Benaki Museum organizes a Conference on the topic of Design, Architecture and Sustainability in the Benaki Museum with the participation of Academic and International scientists from the fields of architecture and environmental design.
The Conference is organized with the scientific support of UIA-ARES Int. WP. The Director N. Fintikakis will give a special presentation under the title : Synergies of Architecture & Renewable Sources towards Climate Change. The program can be seen on the site : http://www.benaki.gr

The Work Program UIA-ARES with the co-organization of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the UIA Hellenic Section will organize an International event in Athens on the 8th of May with the participation of distinguished ARES WP members from the 5 Continents of the World and international experts and academics. The event aims to create a debate between architects and experts towards the future of climate change.
The subject is : "Renewable Energy Sources, an Architectural Design-Lab for the Climate Change in the five Continents". The event will take place during the "Design Lab show" , intending to promote environmental friendly design and materials. read more
